Regular hours are 10AM-5PM  Tuesdays through Sundays and closed on Mondays for the months of November through April; from May through October, the museum is open daily 10am to 5 pm. The museum is closed for the following holidays per year: January 1st, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

FIRST Sunday OF THE MONTH IS free for New Mexico residents with ID. Wednesdays are free for New Mexico resident seniors (60 & up) with ID. Children 16 and under and Museum of New Mexico Foundation Members are always admitted free.  Join Now

Field Trips

There is no charge for New Mexico education groups attending the museum with their instructor and/or adult chaperones.  Groups with ten or more people qualify for the group rate of $8.00 per adult, youth 16 and under are free. Contact Leslie at (505) 476-1217 to arrange class/group visits to the Museum.
