Quilts of India and Pakistan with Martha Wallace & Patricia Stoddard.

Martha Wallace and Patricia Stoddard researched quilts and quilters in India in 2014 and 2015. Gandhi said "If you want to know India, go to the villages" and they did.  Their research focused on the lives of quilters where education and technology are greatly changing the traditional craft.  Representative quilts from Pakistan and Indian tezxtiles will be offered for sale after the presentation; any sales proceeds benefit tyhe registered trusts and NGOs in these two countries.
