front doorsThe museum is located on Museum Hill, at 706 Camino Lejo, off the Old Santa Fe Trail in Santa Fe New Mexico. The City of Santa Fe has posted brown signs with white lettering directing visitors to Museum Hill throughout Santa Fe. The Santa Fe Trails Bus stops on Museum Hill» on the "M-Line" route.

From Albuquerque & other areas South of Santa Fe

Take I-25 North to Santa Fe.
Exit on to the Saint Francis Drive Exit (Highway 285/84 North).
Continue on Saint Francis Drive to Cordova Road, Turn right on Cordova Road.
Continue on Cordova until the Street ENDS, the last light you will cross is Old Pecos Trail.
Follow the signs to Museum Hill
:
left at the end of Cordova/Armenta onto Camino Corralles
go 2 blocks to 4-way stop. The 4-way stop is Old Santa Fe Trail.
Turn right onto Old Santa Fe Trail- the second right is Camino Lejo.
It is marked with a sculpture depicting the Santa Fe Trail (photo, right) and a large sign that says MUSEUM HILL.
Turn right onto Camino Lejo. The visitor lot (FREE PARKING!) is on the left and is marked with banners.

From the North/ Taos, Española, Los Alamos
Highway 285 becomes Saint Francis Drive in Santa Fe.
Continue on Saint Francis to Cordova Road.
Turn left on to Cordova.
