There’s always something exciting happening at the Museum of International Folk Art! Join us for our many programs listed below.
Join us this Sunday June 14th at 10 or 11 am for a free rvirtual version of our Folk Art Family Mornings featuring Grab-and-Go Art Kits and a Zoom program. For our June "Sewing Stories" we will make pictures of our home or other places we love out of cloth. The Zoom program will include Story Time and ’Show and Tell’ Time for the children to share their Art, and will be offered at 10 am and again at 11 am. Each time slot is limited to 15 families. By registering, you are consenting to your child being on camera and audio throughout the duration of the program. Grab-and-Go Kits are available for free curb-side pick up on Friday afternoon from 2-4pm and Saturday the 13th from 10 am -12noon at the Museum Hill Staff Back Parking lot. Please register to recieve for your 15 minute pick-up time slot. Kits will include a sheet of instructions, a sheet of felt fabric, and fabric pieces, and a mini-fabric glue. Supplies are limited, and kits are only available as they last. If you have supplies at home, we can email you the project instruction sheet - or check back here for the project link. To register for the Grab-n-Go Kits or Family Morning Zoom meeting, or both, fill out the registration form here https://forms.gle/nxAe48do1cWiuNJBA. We will email the login link and password for the Zoom meeting. Please share the program information with friends and family, but each family participant must register individually to participate in the zoom meeting.
