Procceds benefit exhibtiions are programs at the Museum of International Folk Art through the Museum of New Mexico Foundation.
Clean out your closets, garage and gather your gently used folk art treasures to donate to the Folk Art Flea! Clothing, scarves, jewelry, textiles, rugs, wall hangings, masks, wood carvings, figurines (no toaster ovens, please) toys, - and get a tax donation form for the 2016 tax year.
Friends of Folk Art volunteers will be in the staff parking lot to accept your donations. The access road for the staff parking lot in between the Main visitor parking lot on Camino Lejo and the entrance to the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian. Two more donation days are scheduled this fall: Saturday November 5 and Saturday December 3, from 10am to 2 pm. If you have large or heavy items you need help with, or none of the donation days work for you; please call the Folk Art Flea hotline at (505) 476-1201 and leave a message so we can make the necessary arrangements.
The 8th Annual Folk Art Flea will be on Saturday May 6, 2017.
